A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Employment Solicitor to join my client's team in their Leeds, West Yorkshire offices.

Key Responsibilities
- Meeting and interviewing clients to assess the firm’s suitability to provide legal advice and services
- Taking client instructions and advising on the legal issues relating to their matter
- Providing clear, practical, and commercially focused legal advice
- Drafting legal documents, correspondence, and contracts tailored to clients’ individual needs
- Conducting legal research and analysing case law and documentation to support matters
- Ensuring the accuracy of legal advice and compliance with relevant procedures
- Negotiating with clients, opposing parties, and other professionals to achieve agreed objectives
- Preparing matters for hearings, negotiations, or settlement discussions
- Coordinating the work of all parties involved in legal matters
- Corresponding with clients, opposing solicitors, and third parties
- Attending meetings and negotiations with opposing parties where appropriate
- Attending court and dealing with court correspondence where required
- Arranging and attending further client meetings to progress matters and finalise documentation
- Supervising and delegating work to trainee solicitors and paralegals where appropriate
- Supervising the implementation of legal agreements and documentation
- Keeping up to date with developments in the law through journals, law reports, and professional updates

Skills & Experience
- Excellent IT, verbal, and written communication skills
- A high level of accuracy with strong attention to detail
- The ability to follow instructions and work methodically
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Initiative and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Patience and tact, with the ability to work professionally with clients from a wide range of backgrounds
- The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- A clear understanding of confidentiality and professional conduct obligations
