Employment Solicitor – Legal 500 Firm, Central London
About the Role AJ Chambers is currently recruiting for an Employment Solicitor at a prestigious Legal 500-ranked firm in Central London. Applications are welcome from newly qualified solicitors (NQ onward) onwards.
You’ll join a supportive team of two partners, specialising in both contentious and non-contentious employment matters, with a focus on respondent-side work. The firm has a structured working environment, including:
- A target of 5.5 billable hours per day
- An excellent work-life balance

Key Responsibilities
- Contractual drafting and review: Employment contracts, restructurings, and guidance.
- Contentious & non-contentious cases:
- Investigating and defending claims of unfair dismissal
- Managing discrimination matters (sex, age, disability, etc.)
- Handling redundancy processes and settlements
- Employment tribunal advocacy: Representing clients before tribunals.
- Collaborating closely with two partners in the specialist team.
