Employment Solicitor | 5+ PQE | Remote Working

Are you an experienced Employment Solicitor looking for a role that offers genuine flexibility without compromising on the quality of work?

A well-established and highly respected law firm is looking to appoint an Employment Solicitor (5+ PQE) to join its growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with an established client base, handle a varied caseload of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, and enjoy the flexibility of predominantly remote working with office attendance required just once a month.

The firm has built an excellent reputation for delivering practical, commercially focused advice to both employers and employees. With continued investment in its people and ambitious growth plans, this is an exciting time to join a supportive, collaborative team where your experience will be genuinely valued.

The Role

You'll manage your own caseload from instruction through to completion, advising on a broad range of employment law matters while providing an exceptional client experience.

Your work will include:

  • Conducting initial consultations with new and existing clients, identifying legal issues and providing clear, pragmatic advice.
  • Advising both employers and employees on a wide variety of employment matters.
  • Drafting and negotiating settlement agreements and advising clients throughout the process.
  • Managing Employment Tribunal litigation from inception through to final hearing where required.
  • Advising on unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing, redundancy, disciplinary and grievance matters.
  • Preparing pleadings, witness statements, bundles and supporting documentation for tribunal proceedings.
  • Negotiating settlements and achieving commercially sensible outcomes for clients.
  • Keeping clients updated throughout the lifecycle of their matter with clear, practical communication.
  • Working closely with colleagues across the firm to deliver a seamless service.
  • Supporting the continued growth of the department through networking, referrals and business development activities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
