Location: Manchester
Salary: Circa GBP 80,000 (DOE)

The Role

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Employment Solicitor to join a rapidly expanding employment team handling matters end-to-end across a range of contentious and noncontentious streams. Acting for a diverse client base, this role involves the delivery of pragmatic commercial advice on a varied caseload including high-value tribunal claims concerning whistleblowing, discrimination and unfair dismissal, senior executive appointments and exits, restrictive covenants, restructures and redundancies and TUPE. In addition to this, the successful candidate will be required to mentor junior members of the team and engage with the business development of the practice.

The Candidate

  • PQE: 5 : 7 PQE
  • Experience: Solid history of managing an individual employment caseload and drafting.
  • Skills: Confidence in supervising less experienced team members and effective delegating within a busy environment.
  • Advocacy: Previous experience is preferable but not required.
  • Client Development: An appetite for client development.
