Employment Tax Manager

About the Role

We are recruiting a talented Employment Tax Manager to join our expanding tax team.

You’ll work with clients ranging from entrepreneurial owner-managed businesses to growing corporates, delivering a variety of engaging and challenging tax advisory projects.

A key focus will include mentoring junior team members to develop them into skilled tax advisors, as well as supporting our business development efforts as we continue to expand.


Role & Responsibilities

Working closely with Tax Partners and Directors, your role will involve:

  • Delivering a broad spectrum of employment tax advisory projects, including:
    • Advising on benefit and reward packages
    • Supporting international employments
    • Addressing national minimum wage and construction industry scheme (CIS) queries
  • Preparing employment tax due diligence reports for business acquisitions or sales
  • Coaching and developing trainees
  • Contributing to business development initiatives at a local and firm-wide level
  • Participating in business strategy discussions
  • Enhancing our employment tax servicing offerings

Requirements

Essential

  • Qualifications and experience in an employment tax environment
  • Strong communication skills to build trusting client relationships
  • Enthusiasm for team development and mentoring
  • Commitment to business growth and success

Desirable (Not Essential)

  • Experience advising on international employments
  • Knowledge of CIS (Construction Industry Scheme)
