Reporting to the European Business Development Director, you will build a pipeline of new Enterprise opportunities and will be assigned Named End user Accounts within your given region and ensure all growth targets are achieved.

We are specifically looking for someone at a senior level, ideally with a strong background in access control or wider security solutions.

As our End User Business Development Manager, you’ll support HID’s success by:

  • Build a pipeline of new Enterprise opportunities from the fortune 2000.
  • Field based position with 60% of your time spent travelling and visiting customers.
  • Manage & develop assigned named end user accounts within your region.
  • Ability to close opportunities in order to achieve targets.
  • Develop and execute the Account Strategy for all end user accounts, including account plans.
  • Introduce the latest products and solutions to all opportunities.
  • Support and deliver training to consultants and specifiers in region where required.
  • Conduct regular market analysis to determine the customer's needs.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, customer events and association meetings.
  • Collaborate across different business areas in HID to efficiently deliver solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Maintain end user & consultant details, activities and opportunities using CRM.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of all HID Products and competitive products.
  • Prepare and submit accurate forecasts on a regular basis using the tools provided.
  • Deliver excellent customer service.

What we love about your background

Your Experience and Education include

  • Bachelor's degree or Equivalent.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience direct sales and /or managing key accounts.
  • Demonstrable ability to hit sales targets.
  • Previous experience of selling Physical Access Control solutions would be an advantage.
  • Experience in a solution selling environment specifically Saas and/or Cloud based licensing models would be desirable.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work as a self-starter, but also a work effectively as part of a team.
  • Hands on attitude with the ability to manage multiple projects, successfully prioritizing.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards.
