The Service & Team You will be joining the Solution Hub team, a friendly and experienced group mostly based in the Truro office. The team supports Cornwall Council, the Council’s Group of Companies and the Council of the Isles of Scilly. The service works flexibly and collaborates closely with other areas of the IT department to deliver responsive and effective support.

The Role This role provides hands‑on support across a wide range of end‑user IT services and activities. You will be involved in supporting day‑to‑day IT needs, working both independently and alongside colleagues across the IT service.

Key responsibilities include:

Supporting office moves, IT equipment installations, site decommissioning and building clearances Building and provisioning new laptops and desktop devices Delivering IT equipment to users at home or work locations Collecting, processing and reusing redundant IT equipment where possible Working closely with the onsite support team and providing cover when required

The variety of work within the Solution Hub will provide opportunities to gain broad experience across IT services and develop skills within an agile working environment.

Working Pattern The role is primarily based from the Truro office, with flexible ways of working supported in line with service needs. Some travel to user locations may be required as part of service delivery.
