Balyasny Asset Management (BAM)

BAM is a global institutional investment firm. We strive to deliver consistent, uncorrelated, absolute returns in all market environments by fostering a culture of research, innovation, and collaboration.

BAM operates at the intersection of finance and technology, bringing together leading portfolio managers, investment professionals, software engineers, and quantitative researchers to identify opportunities, analyze market conditions, manage risk, and deliver strong outcomes for our investors. With more than 2,700 employees across global offices, we promote a culture that values excellence, continuous learning, collaboration, and accountability, while supporting the health and wellbeing of our people through competitive benefits and development opportunities.

Role Overview

BAM is seeking an End User Experience Engineer to join our End User Experience Engineering team. This role helps engineer and operate end-user endpoint platforms across the firm, including modern remote access solutions (SASE/ZTNA), Apple (iOS/iPadOS, macOS via Jamf) and mobility, and contributing as a generalist across core end-user platforms (Windows endpoint ecosystem, collaboration clients, remote access, and experience telemetry).

This is an engineering role focused on standardization, automation, and reliability at scale. You will partner with Windows/VDI engineering, IAM, networking, security, and application teams to deliver a consistent and measurable end-user experience globally.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
