Sherwood Forest Hospitals: Endoscopy Assistants

Sherwood Forest Hospitals are seeking compassionate and proactive Endoscopy Assistants to join our dedicated team in the Endoscopy Department. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a caring and dynamic environment where the patient always comes first.

As an Endoscopy Assistant, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of exceptional care within a fast-paced, specialist environment. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team, you will assist qualified nursing and medical staff in the Endoscopy Unit—helping to ensure each patient receives compassionate, high-quality and holistic care from arrival to recovery.

  • You’ll be actively involved in both clinical and operational aspects of the service, including preparing and maintaining treatment areas, aiding in patient observation and comfort, and managing specialized equipment for endoscope decontamination.
  • This role demands attention to detail, a strong sense of responsibility and a dedication to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and infection control.
