Reception & Booking Officer (Band 2 to Band 4 Location: Endoscopy Department at University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust)

About the Role
This is a hybrid role combining reception and booking officer duties to provide flexibility within the Endoscopy Department, supporting both the booking and reception team.
The role focuses on delivering patient care with professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency throughout their journey—from referral to appointment follow-ups.
Key responsibilities include welcoming patients, carers, relatives, and healthcare staff, ensuring seamless navigation through clinic systems like Choose and Book, iPortal, Careflow, and Solus, while maintaining accurate, safe data quality recording.

Additionally, the role involves:
- Handling clerical duties, including receiving/requesting routine information.
- Tactful communication with patients and staff regarding appointments, cancellations, and queries.
- Updating Patient Details and Appointments via phone, including date/time changes or cancellations.
