Endoscopy Team Lead

Endoscopy Team Leader | Theatre | Regency – Macclesfield

Part-time or full-time hours available | Permanent | Band 6/7 (depending on experience)

🔴 £2,000 joining bonus available for this role



About the Role

Are you an experienced endoscopy practitioner looking for a new challenge with real impact? An exciting Endoscopy Team Leader role has opened at Spire Regency Hospital, Macclesfield, where you can take a leadership position in developing our endoscopy service and guiding us towards JAG accreditation.

We seek a passionate professional dedicated to quality improvement, service development, and excellence in patient-centred care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and drive the endoscopy service to deliver safe, effective, and patient-centred care
  • Act as a JAG accreditation champion, ensuring compliance and maintaining high standards
  • Oversee audit, quality improvement processes, and adherence to JAG and CQC guidelines
  • Develop and implement best-practice policies, pathways, and clinical standards
  • Provide clinical leadership, mentorship, and support to the endoscopy team
  • Promote a culture of safety, continuous learning, and service improvement
  • Collaborate with the Theatre Manager to align endoscopy services with overall departmental objectives
  • Prioritise patient dignity, privacy, and experience

Person Specification

  • NMC or ODP registration (pin without any restrictions or conditions)
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in endoscopy
  • Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with Advanced Life Support (ALS) preferred
  • Detailed knowledge of JAG and CQC standards for endoscopy services
  • Comprehensive understanding of health and safety practices, including COSHH regulations
  • Strong communication & teamwork skills
  • Leadership & mentoring capability
