Endur Business Analyst

Endur Business Analyst / Developer – (Oil & Gas)

12 Month Contract (very likely to be extended) Competitive Day Rate (Inside IR35) Hybrid, based in London (2/3 days per week)

About the Role

We are recruiting for experienced Endur Business Analysts with experience working within the oil and gas industry. The role will involve supporting a business-led programme that will transform processes, working rhythms, and data, as well as driving the implementation of Endur across SE Europe GAS, Power and Global EPT.


Responsibilities

  • Capturing business problems, value drivers, and functional/non-functional requirements, and translating them into clear functionality.
  • Assessing risks, feasibility, opportunities, and business impact.
  • Analysing and modelling processes, data flows, and technology to identify current operational value and inefficiencies, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Creating and maintaining clear documentation of requirements, ensuring alignment with the solution throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensuring requirement traceability from business needs through testing and scope refinements, to the final solution.
  • Collaborating with software suppliers, designers, and developers to:
    • Understand software limitations.
    • Deliver elements of system and database design.
    • Ensure business requirements are fully addressed.
  • Configuring and documenting software and processes using agreed standards and tools.
  • Developing acceptance criteria and validating solutions to confirm they meet business needs via testing.
  • Creating and presenting compelling business cases to justify solution value and secure approval, funding, and prioritisation.
  • Leading and managing business analysis activities across projects, ensuring adherence to cost, time, and quality parameters.
  • Facilitating stakeholder engagement and large design sessions.
  • Leading teams in business analysis activities.
  • Configuring and documenting software and processes.
  • Defining and coordinating testing efforts.

Requirements

Essential Skills

  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks and tools, with hands-on experience in Agile project execution.
  • Ability to educate stakeholders, including Product Owners and Business Partners, in Agile methodologies.
  • Profound knowledge of systems engineering concepts, including data/process analysis and modelling, alongside expertise in products and solutions.
  • An IT-focused degree combined with substantial industry experience.
  • Practical experience in configuring Endur, including hands-on knowledge of Endur modules and their commodity applications.

Optional (Preferred) Certifications & Experience

  • Agile certifications or formal training.
  • CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI-PBA certification.
  • Lean Practitioner training and applicable experience.
