Exciting Opportunity in Climate & Energy Team
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Climate & Energy Team assisting in the development and implementation of energy efficiency programmes and projects for the corporate property portfolio.
About the Role
You will be joining a dynamic and flexible team who currently operate a hybrid working model of home and office-based working at the Civic Centre offices in Motherwell.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake energy audits within properties and make recommendations on where reductions in energy/water consumption can be achieved.
- Maintain and develop the energy information sources.
- Develop reports for client services.

Required Qualifications and Experience
- SVQ3/HNC or equivalent qualification is essential.
- Extended period of relevant work experience.
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of the operation and control of Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS) and Energy Management software including monitoring and targeting of consumption.

Location
The ability to travel throughout the area of North Lanarkshire Council is essential.
Work Pattern
- 35 hours per week
- Monday - Thursday: 08:45 - 16:45 (including a 55 minute unpaid break)
- Friday: 08:45 - 16:15 (including a 50 minute unpaid break)
