We're looking for a talented Energy Manager to support a prestigious multi-site property portfolio across Scotland. This is a highly autonomous role where you'll have the freedom to manage your own diary, work closely with stakeholders and drive meaningful reductions in energy consumption and carbon emissions.

This is a hybrid role, travelling to client sites approx. 3 times a week. Sites are predominantly based in Edinburgh and Glasgow, but some travel within the wider Scotland area is possible.

The Role

As Energy Manager, you'll play a leading role in identifying, developing, implementing and reporting on energy-saving initiatives across a diverse estate of office and retail locations throughout Scotland. You'll work closely with engineering teams, contractors and client stakeholders to deliver measurable improvements in energy performance and support ambitious sustainability targets.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying and delivering energy and carbon reduction opportunities
  • Conducting energy surveys and audits across multiple sites
  • Developing Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs) with supporting ROI and business cases
  • Analysing utility consumption, energy data and performance trends
  • Supporting the implementation of energy efficiency projects
  • Providing technical guidance on HVAC, BMS, lighting and control systems
  • Developing feasibility studies for energy reduction and generation projects
  • Engaging with stakeholders to promote best practice in energy management
  • Monitoring and reporting on energy-saving performance against agreed targets

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
