Ohme has been selling its chargers to consumers since mid 2019 and has had exponential growth since. We are now operating in multiple countries and have partnerships with the likes of VW, Mercedes, Octopus Energy, and other innovative brands.

Ohme is rapidly expanding our participation in the Energy sector through our EV charging points. We’re looking for an Energy Markets Operations Analyst to be part of our Energy Operations function in the most innovative area of the energy industry. You’ll be a critical part of our Energy team for Ohme’s portfolio by unlocking access to markets, managing assets and building industry relationships. This role is well suited to someone early in their energy career - you’ll be supported by experienced members of the Energy Flexibility team as you build your expertise.

What you’ll do
- Market entry: Secure regulatory approvals for new markets from scoping, translating into technical needs and managing project
- Market operations: Work with Elexon to handle dispute & reallocations, communicating with other entities to resolve issues
- Settlement operations: Manage settlements and payments to ensure full reconciliation, resolving discrepancies where needed
- Tech collaboration: Feed operational challenges back into Product and Engineering teams to scope out automated solutions
- Capacity Market: Support our applications into market auctions (incl. pre-qualification, auction prep, portfolio admin)
- Reporting: Develop reporting tools to identify operational trends to act on, providing updates to senior management
What you’ll bring (skills & experience)
- 3+ years’ experience with some of that coming from the energy sector
- Understanding of the different energy system operator agencies in the UK (NESO, Elexon, etc.)
- Comfortable managing a project and engaging with broad range of internal and external stakeholders to deliver outcomes
- Comfort working with operational and financial data, and performing analytics with tools
- Curiosity and experience using AI tools (e.g. Claude, n8n, Lovable)
- Team player who is willing to learn new skills, and dive into projects where they may not have perfect information
