Ohme has been selling its chargers to consumers since mid 2019 and has had exponential growth since. We are now operating in multiple countries and have partnerships with the likes of VW, Mercedes, Octopus Energy, and other innovative brands.

Ohme is rapidly expanding our participation in the Energy sector through our EV charging points. We’re looking for an Energy Trading Manager to be part of our trading desk in the most innovative area of the energy industry. You’ll be a critical part of our trading team for Ohme’s flexibility portfolio and creating the systems that will underpin the next era of the energy sector.

What you’ll do
- Run market view using NG ESO Data Portal, Elexon BMRS, exchange platforms and translate signals into actions
- Execute trading decisions via exchange platforms whilst mitigating against potential errors in our system
- Monitor delivery performance during events, complete post-event reviews and P&L attribution.
- Complete analysis of our trading data to inform new strategy design and unlock additional sources of value
- Identify automation opportunities and enact them or co-ordinate with Tech to create long-term solutions
- Translate approved trading strategies into actionable approaches across markets whilst minimizing risk
What you’ll bring (skills & experience)
- 6+ years’ experience of energy trading in either a generator, aggregator or supplier business
- Strong grounding in GB markets operations (DSO, ESO balancing, day ahead / intraday)
- Practical experience with range of platforms (e.g. Elexon, NG ESO Data Portal, EPEX)
- Ideally has experience with multiple asset types (e.g. BESS, DSR, Fleets, new technologies)
- Experience with some AI tooling beyond general purpose chat agents (N8N, Lovable, Claude Cowork, etc.)
- Familiarity with risk concepts (capture vs benchmark, imbalance exposure) and compliance expectations.
