DVLA Enforcement Officer
Location: Gateshead
Enjoy working outdoors? Confident dealing with the public? Want a role where you can make a real impact?
We’re looking for motivated, professional individuals to help enforce vehicle regulations, support the community, and keep roads safe and compliant. You’ll be one of the key frontline faces representing our service in your local area.
What you’ll do:
- Liaise with members of the public regarding clamping and fines
- Advise on payment methods and enforcement procedures
- Work alongside agencies such as Police, DVLA, and VOSA
- Respond to public enquiries and provide relevant information
- Ensure enforcement equipment and vehicles are safe and operational
- Complete daily activity reports

What we’re looking for:
- Full UK driving licence
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Professional, reliable, and confident in public-facing situations
- Flexible and able to work shifts
- Previous experience in a similar role (desirable, not essential)
