Engagement and Policy Manager - Health Equals (Maternity Cover)
Salary: £60,697 with excellent benefits Contract: 12-month fixed term (maternity cover) Hours: 37.5 hours per week (minimum two in-person days per week)

About the Role
The Engagement and Policy Manager (maternity cover) plays a critical role in delivering the Health Equals programme.
Health Equals is a coalition of organisations ensuring equality of health opportunities for everyone. We collaborate with over 125 coalition members and a network of 100+ parliamentary champions to:
- Raise awareness of health inequalities
- Drive policy inclusion via government decision-making
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a dynamic public affairs programme, engaging cross-party parliamentarians and managing our network of champions.
- Develop and implement policy influence strategies with stakeholders and external partners.
- Organise high-impact public affairs events.
- Create policy briefings, materials, and engaging campaigns with broad cross-sector impact.
- Support the coalition in mobilising collective action for policy change.
- Oversee agency support and integrate public affairs with communications and campaigns.
- Cooperate with wider teams to ensure collective contribution.

Ideal Candidate:
- Seasoned policy professional with stakeholder engagement experience.
- Strong knowledge of public affairs, parliamentary processes, and public health policy.
- Confident relationship builder across sectors.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
