Engagement and Support Project Worker
Location: Based in two of Open Access Hubs (Peterborough and Wisbech or Huntingdon)
Note: Role will require some cross-county travel
Hours: 1 x Full Time (35 hrs) Salary: £28,000 – £31,000 Type: Permanent Closing Date: 30th July 2026 Interview Dates:
- Tuesday, 11th August
- Wednesday, 12th August Note: Young Persons Panel interview (13th August) for final-stage candidates.

The Role
Project Worker (Someone to Talk to Service) Join an established team as a Support Worker to provide holistic, practical, and emotional help to young people across their Open Access Hubs.
You’ll collaborate with fellow Support Workers and Team Leads to ensure excellent, safe, and impactful services align with young people’s needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive, tailored support to safeguard and empower young people.
- Work with complex caseloads, assessing and mitigating risks proactively.
- Build strong partnerships with local organisations and statutory services to create seamless support pathways.
- Be hub-based, with operational hours of 10am–6pm (including Sat mornings via a rota system).

Person Specification
They’re looking for a highly motivated professional with:
- Youth work experience (preferred)
- Experience managing complex caseloads and risk assessments
- Alignment with their values: young people-led, collaborative, inclusive, and excellence-driven.
