We are currently seeking an Engagement Co-ordinator to support our Scotland Team who are either based in our Glasgow office or home based across Scotland (Field team). You will provide a consistently high level of support to the Scotland Office and Field team and professional front line support to FSB members, external stakeholders and the wider small business community.
What will you do?
The role is varied across four main workstreams: Frontline external support, internal support, events and communication.
The Successful Candidate Will (but Not Limited To)
- Be the first point of contact / face of FSB to members and external stakeholders contacting the Scotland Team.
- Be responsible for the management of the Scotland Office, including meeting room and diary management, and day-to-day running of the office.
- Provide general administrative support for the Scotland team (office and field), and secretarial support to the Scotland Volunteer Council of Members.
- Support the planning and delivery of events, liaising with venues, speakers, suppliers and internal stakeholders to manage bookings and logistics.
- Support the growth of FSB Scotland's social media presence by creating and scheduling engaging content, interacting with followers, and responding to messages and comments.
- Support the Communications and External Affairs Manager and Engagement Managers in delivering communications strategies and campaigns.
- Identify emerging opportunities for FSB across the pillars of commercial; membership; advocacy and media.

Who are we looking for?
- Experience of managing and delivering administration support and working in a customer supporting role.
- Good telephone manner with the ability to carry out customer service calls to a high standard.
- Confident in working in a role without close supervision and able in using own initiative as appropriate.
- Good all-round knowledge of managing and delivering administration support.
- Good knowledge of IT applications including Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, databases and social media platforms.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills and strong relationship building and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload to meet deadlines and the ability to enable the smooth coordination of activities.
Essential Qualifications
- GCSE Grade 4 or equivalent in English Language and Maths.
