Find are delighted to be supporting a Nottingham based leading training organisation to hire an Engagement Team Leader to drive their sales & learner recruitment team.
Our client provide a range of employment related training including Full Time Programmes, Apprenticeships, Employability, Adult Learning Loans and work experience opportunities for adults and young people from diverse backgrounds, that will enhance individuals' employment potential and qualifications.
The successful candidate will work with the Commercial Director to develop and grow the business, implement the sales strategy and achieve annual sales, recruitment and retention KPIs across all relevant programmes.
You will effectively lead, develop and manage the engagement team to ensure they meet their individual KPIs and deliver excellent service to all our customer and stakeholders and build strong working relationships.
Main responsibilities:
- Ensure the team are achieving sales targets and KPIs across all relevant programmes.
- Ensure the team maximise sales opportunities and sales time by working in a structured format and implementing sales plans in line with sales strategy.
- Produce accurate and timely sales reports as required and ensure overall and individual sales records/trackers/CRM/reports, are kept up to date in a timely manner.
- Ensure candidate applications are processed timely to provide a good service and maximise sales opportunities and implement effective use of a 'talent pool'.
- Lead by example by building up and managing a caseload of own sales activity/key accounts and support the Commercial Director to manage key customers and generate opportunities.
- Manage the performance of the team in line with company process including conducting monthly one-to-ones to ensure team performance is in line with agreed KPI's and address underperformance, taking appropriate action where necessary.
- Develop, and support team to enable them to provide robust Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) to our learners and employers and achieve a minimum rating of 'Expected Standard' on IAG observation.
- Maintain own professional competence by keeping up to date with Government and sector developments and priorities.

- A proven track record of meeting sales and / or recruitment targets within the FE sector.
- Knowledge of apprenticeships and the wider FE sector.
- Experience of leading, managing and motivating a sales and / or recruitment team.
- Determination and drive to achieve company targets.
- Self-motivated and able to cope under pressure.
- Excellent communicational skills.
- GCSE English and Maths grade 4 or above (or equivalent).
- Excellent IT skills (conversant with Microsoft Office and social media).
- Driving licence and own transport.
