Various Engineering Roles

Allan Webb currently has a number of Engineering roles available, within multiple disciplines at various levels.

These roles would suit service leavers or individuals with extensive experience of working with or within the MoD/DE&S. The roles cover a variety of Engineering disciplines (including Electrical, Mechanical, Communications and Weapons) from all domains (Land, Sea and Air) and we would welcome applications from individuals with experience in these areas.

These roles would particularly suit ex service personnel such as Royal Navy Weapons and Marine Engineers, REME Artificers and Royal Signals Yeoman or Foreman of Signals.

Ideally, candidates would be located within a commutable distance of Bristol, as an onsite presence of 3–4 days a week would be required for these positions.

Minimum qualifications for these roles would be an HNC in a relevant discipline and at least 5 years experience within an armed forces or civilian support role.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
