Engineer – Production Process
Location: Melton Mowbray
Are you passionate about driving manufacturing excellence and delivering process improvements that make a real impact? At Mars, we're looking for a talented Production Process Engineer to join our team in Melton Mowbray and play a key role in optimising production performance, enhancing efficiency, and supporting the delivery of world-class products.
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency, quality, and cost performance.
- Conduct testing and analysis across manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for optimisation and troubleshoot production issues.
- Develop, implement, and validate new or revised production processes to support operational excellence.
- Provide technical guidance on product specifications, manufacturing methods, and equipment capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver engineering projects and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure all production processes and procedures comply with regulatory, safety, and quality standards.

What are we looking for?
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience in a production, process, or manufacturing engineering role.
- Strong problem-solving skills with experience identifying root causes and implementing sustainable solutions.
- Proven project management and continuous improvement experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Confident user of SAP and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
