Shift Maintenance Engineer
Location: Angus
Salary: Circa £40,000 + Regular Overtime + Benefits
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Our client, a well-established food manufacturing business in Angus, is looking to recruit a Shift Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team.
Working within a fast-paced production environment, you'll be responsible for responding to breakdowns, carrying out planned maintenance, fault finding and implementing long-term engineering solutions to maximise equipment reliability and site performance.

- Attend and resolve equipment breakdowns, identifying root causes and implementing permanent fixes.
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across production equipment.
- Support and improve the site's Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) programme.
- Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate engineering records and complete effective shift handovers.
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with food safety standards.
What We're Looking For
- Maintenance engineering experience gained within manufacturing, food production, FMCG or a similar environment.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Engineering qualification (City & Guilds, ONC, HNC or equivalent) desirable.
- Positive attitude, strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Hours (Rotating Weekly)
- Early Shift – Monday 8am to 6pm, Tuesday & Wednesday, 6am to 6pm and Thursday 6am to 12.30pm
- Dayshift – Monday to Thursday, 7am to 5.15pm
- Nightshift – Monday to Wednesday, 6pm to 6am
