Engineering Administrator FTC
Engineering Administrator | Private Hospital | Admin | 6 months Fixed Term contract | Full-time - 37.5 hours per week
Spire Southampton Hospital is recruiting for an experienced Administrator to join the engineering service within the hospital. This is a 6-month Fixed term contract working full-time hours.

Duties and responsibilities:
- To ensure that all documentation required for the Engineering audit is up to date and filled in the correct location.
- To ensure that all HS21 contractor documentation is up to date and signed off by the Facilities Manager and filled correctly – including upload to the CMMS system.
- Support the facilities Manager in ensuring all Facilities policies are up to date with the relevant information in.
- Ensure all relevant information is uploaded onto Pirana.
- Ensure all facilities trackers are kept up to date.
- Supporting the Equipment coordinator on when not on site to ensure the upkeep on the medical equipment.
- To record and schedule all new equipment and services for planned maintenance on the network CMMS. Ensure continual update of hospital asset registers to keep all plant and equipment visible to the site and the network.

Who we're looking for:
- Previous experience in a similar administration role is essential
- Knowledge of building services
- Able to prioritise demands against resources
- Able to develop objective in line with corporate/local business plans
- Able to negotiate service levels and also local contracts with external suppliers
- Able to assure hospital compliance with changing legislation
- Healthcare knowledge is desirable but not essential
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including listening and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build relationships with all customer groups
- Highly literate and numerate
Working Hours:
Full-time 37.5 hours Monday-Friday 8am-4pm OR 9am-5pm
Contract Type:
6 months fixed term contract
