The Role
Working as part of the production team, you'll assemble high-precision mechanical products to exact specifications. This is a hands-on role requiring accuracy, attention to detail and a willingness to learn. Duties include:
- Mechanical assembly of precision components and sub-assemblies
- Using hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment
- Working from engineering drawings, assembly instructions and technical documentation
- Measuring and checking components to ensure they meet required dimensions and tolerances
- Inspecting finished products to company quality standards
- Maintaining a safe, organised and efficient work area
- Reporting any quality, tooling or equipment issues
- Supporting production targets while maintaining high standards of workmanship
About You
You'll be someone who enjoys practical work and wants to build a long-term career in engineering manufacturing. You'll ideally have:
- Experience within manufacturing, engineering, production, assembly or mechanical environments
- Good mechanical aptitude and confidence using hand tools
- The ability to read measurements and work accurately to dimensions and tolerances
- Experience following technical instructions, engineering drawings or assembly procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
