Engineering Technician / Maintenance Assistant
Summary
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a practical mindset, who enjoys working with their hands, solving problems, and learning new skills.
You do not need extensive engineering experience. We are far more interested in finding someone who:
- Is reliable
- Takes pride in their work
- Turns up on time
- Is eager to learn
Working alongside highly experienced engineers, you will assist with:
- Routine maintenance
- Equipment setup
- Factory improvements
- General engineering support tasks

Our headquarters and manufacturing facility are located in Bicester, with a second storage warehouse nearby. Since fitting out our state-of-the-art clean rooms and manufacturing facility in 2019, we have continued to invest in our infrastructure to better serve our customers and enhance operational efficiency.
What Will You Do?
- Assist engineers with planned maintenance activities
- Support machine setup, changeovers and adjustments
- Carry out basic repairs under supervision
- Help identify and report equipment issues
- Maintain engineering tools, stores and spare parts inventory
- Keep engineering work areas clean, organised and safe
- Support installation of new equipment and factory improvement projects
- Complete maintenance records and documentation accurately
- Respond to engineering requests from production teams
- Assist with routine inspections and preventative maintenance schedules
- Follow all Health & Safety and GMP requirements

What We’re Looking For?
- 0-2 years’ experience in a manufacturing, maintenance, warehouse, production, or engineering-related environment
- A strong work ethic and dependable attendance record
- Engineering qualification or apprenticeship exposure (advantage but not essential)
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Experience using hand tools and basic workshop equipment
- Understanding of Health & Safety practices
