Role Summary

The Business Operations Associate will support the Engineering function in delivering business operations, planning activities, and strategic priorities through communication, coordination, and engagement. This role ensures operational excellence, enhances team effectiveness, and aligns initiatives with business goals.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting daily operational activities across the Engineering function to aid strategic delivery.
  • Coordination of timelines, templates, submissions, and project outcomes for key business processes.
  • Gathering meeting notes, tracking actions, and following up to ensure tasks are completed.
  • Assisting with presentations, briefing materials, reports, and leadership communication.
  • Compiling, analysing, and reporting operational metrics and management information.
  • Maintaining documentation, process guides, and team resources for knowledge retention and consistency.
  • Planning logistics for team meetings, events, offsites, and engagement activities.
  • Supporting purchasing, vendor management, and administrative functions as needed.
  • Identifying process improvements and supporting their implementation to boost team effectiveness.
  • Building collaborative relationships across technology and business teams to drive alignment.

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to engage clearly with stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and interpersonal skills to work effectively with teams.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks amid competing deadlines and responsibilities.
  • Capacity to analyse data and present findings in a clear, structured way.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Teamwork experience with diverse internal stakeholders.
  • Curiosity and adaptability in learning about engineering, business operations, and organisational processes.
  • Proactive problem-solving mentality.
  • Bonus skills (not essential but desired):
    • Experience creating presentations or analysing data.
    • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
    • Strong organisational ability with deadline management.
