The Role
Here at Survitec, we are currently recruiting for an Engineering Data Administrator to join our Engineering team.
Key responsibilities
Key responsibilities for the Engineering Data Administrator role include but are not limited to:
- Maintains an in-depth understanding of functional Survitec data held in multiple ERP systems, their functionality and acceptable uses
- Registers the functional data into Survitec ERP system(s) in accordance with that defined master data structure
- Ensures timely updates to core data, to ensure data accuracy for business purposes and reporting
- Provides support and advice to data users, equipping them to get the most out of available data and the data management systems, including support and preparation for supplier reviews
- Works collaboratively to understand and resolve technical or training issues that may affect the quality or availability of up-to-date functional data in the ERP systems
- Contributes to reviewing existing master data quality, generating new ideas in support of driving continuous improvement in data quality and / or availability
- Contributes to data cleansing activity in support of ERP systems updates and/or migrations
- Perform various support tasks within the Configuration Control department
- Contributes positively to creating an inclusive environment where our people feel valued, appreciated and free to be who they are at work

- Ensures a safe and healthy working environment
- Updates and maintains product pricing data in the ERP system in line with company guidelines and supplier information
- Manages and updates the product document library, ensuring all documentation and certificates are complete, valid, and compliant with company and regulatory requirements
- Actively gathers, verifies, and updates product information (including specifications, certificates, and supplier data) to maintain data accuracy and consistency across systems
- Works together with Data Administrator OEM products, covering for one another during leave-periods and aligns on important feedback to governance or customer (product category manager) roles

About You
- Makes sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems

Essential Criteria
- GCSEs (Grades A-C), or equivalent, including English Language and Mathematics
- Experience of administrative duties
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications
Desirable Criteria
- Knowledge of ERP Systems
