The Role

Here at Survitec, we are seeking an Engineering Data Administrator to join our Customer Service team. This critical role involves ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and accessibility of anchoring functional data within ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and maintaining seamless business operations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Data Management & Master Data Maintainance

    • Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of Survitec’s functional ERP data, including system functionality and best use practices.
    • Ensure compliance with Survitec’s master data structure when registering functional data in ERP system(s).
    • Guarantee timely updates to core data to maintain accuracy for business reporting and decision-making.
  • Technical & Operational Support

    • Provide data user support, equipping stakeholders (teams, suppliers) to leverage data efficiently for supplier reviews and business processes.
    • Collaborate to troubleshoot technical or training issues impacting data quality, accessibility, or ERP system uptime.
    • Actively support data cleansing initiatives, ensuring smooth ERP migrations or system updates.
    • Perform various support functions within the Configuration Control department.
  • Diagnostic & Compliance Focused Work

    • Contribute to reviews of master data quality, proposing continuous improvement strategies.
    • Manage product pricing data updates within ERP systems based on company guidelines and supplier data.
    • Update & maintain the product document library to ensure certificates, specifications, and associated files remain complete, valid, and compliant with regulatory and corporate standards.
    • Gather, verify, and update technical specifications, supplier information, and product certification data for decision-making and reporting.

  • Cross-Team & Co-Operation
    • Collaborate with Data Administrator (OEM products) for mutual back-up during leave and aligned reporting to governance/customer divisions.

About You

Essential Criteria

  • GCSEs (Grades A-C) or equivalent in English Language & Mathematics.
  • Direct experience in administrative duties, particularly within data-centric, technical, or logistical environments.
  • Full proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, OneDrive).

Desirable Role Experience

  • Familiarity with ERP systems (navigating functionality, reporting, and troubleshooting).
