The program begins in September 2026 with the role of Embedded Systems Engineer in Cwmbran, UK. Here, you’ll join the Embedded Software Engineering team, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the firmware that powers Eaton’s Life Safety products. The goal is to deliver secure, high-quality code across the full development lifecycle—from architecture to validation—ensuring robust performance, compliance, and system reliability.

In your second program year, you’ll relocate to another EMEA country to pursue a discipline such as mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, embedded systems, power electronics, or product development. Potential locations include the Czech Republic, Austria, Germany, Italy, or Ireland.
Qualifications
- Currently possess or will obtain a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electronics/SW Engineering, with a graduation date no later than August 2026.
- Maximum of 1–3 years of experience (counting internships), with affiliates to 3 years post-graduation.
- Strong experience/knowledge of hardware/software/firmware/embedded engineering.
