Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer – FMCG Manufacturer
We're searching for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a growing FMCG manufacturer in Harrogate, supporting ambitious growth plans with exceptional training and career development opportunities. Shift working includes alternate weekends off.

Shift Pattern
12-hour rotations: 7am–7pm & 7pm–7am Week 1: Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat, Sun Week 2: Wed, Thurs

About the Role
This position is ideal for a multi-skilled engineer with electrical and mechanical maintenance experience in manufacturing environments, particularly within food/beverage or FMCG. Required skills include:
- Fault finding & problem resolution (automated processes & PLCs)
- Servo motor control & inverter/controller set-up
- Mechanical servicing (welding, turning, repairs)
- Site services expertise: Compressors, steam boilers, water treatment & electrical distribution
- AS-i network control understanding
- PLC programming: Siemens/Allen Bradley
- Process control fault-finding
- Electrical/Mechanical City & Guilds qualification or equivalent
Key Responsibilities
- Proactive fault diagnosis and equipment repairs on high-speed automated machinery
- Reactive & planned maintenance of Krones machinery
- Strict adherence to health & safety, quality, hygiene & housekeeping standards
- Monitoring/warning on machine defects or failure indicators
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and team-wide issue communication
