You'll step into a deeply technical environment spanning distributed systems, evolving microservices and large-scale platform change.

About the Role 💼
- You'll lead multiple engineering squads responsible for core product domains.
- Manage and mentor engineers across seniority levels.
- Drive planning, delivery and technical direction.
- Partner closely with product and senior technical leadership.
- Improve engineering processes, quality and developer velocity.
- Stay technically credible through design input, PR reviews and guidance.
- Help define future technology and architecture direction.
You'll own outcomes, team health and technical standards.

Skills and Experience 📈

- Experience leading engineering teams building high-scale backend products.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and modern architecture.
- Previous people leadership across multiple squads.
- Comfortable operating through ambiguity and change.
- Strong communicator aligning engineering and product.
- Cloud platform experience (AWS).
- Exposure to C#/.Net environment.
Nice to have:
- Exposure to platform modernisation or large technical transformation.
- Background in SaaS or complex product environments.
