About the Role 💼

  • You'll lead multiple engineering squads responsible for core product domains.
  • Manage and mentor engineers across seniority levels.
  • Drive planning, delivery and technical direction.
  • Partner closely with product and senior technical leadership.
  • Improve engineering processes, quality and developer velocity.
  • Stay technically credible through design input, PR reviews and guidance.
  • Help define future technology and architecture direction.

You'll own outcomes, team health and technical standards.

  • Microservices powering high-scale real-time systems.
  • Performance, scalability and reliability improvements.
  • Platform evolution and roadmap planning.
  • Hiring and growing strong engineering teams.

  • Experience leading engineering teams building high-scale backend products.
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems and modern architecture.
  • Previous people leadership across multiple squads.
  • Comfortable operating through ambiguity and change.
  • Strong communicator aligning engineering and product.
  • Cloud platform experience (AWS).
  • Exposure to C#/.Net environment.

Nice to have:

  • Exposure to platform modernisation or large technical transformation.
  • Background in SaaS or complex product environments.
