Software Engineering Manager – NMI

About the Role

As a Software Engineering Manager at NMI, you will step beyond traditional leadership—you’ll become a mentor, advocate, and architect of career growth.   • Hiring & retention diversification: Actively participate in recruiting and retaining diverse talent to cultivate an inclusive, innovative collaborative team.
  • ** Enable high performance**: Facilitate workflows ensuring teams deliver high-quality software efficiently.
  • Cross-functional alignment: Collaborate with:
    • Director of Product Engineering
    • Product Managers
    • Product Owners
    • Fellow Engineering Managers to drive operational excellence, set measurable success metrics, and maintain alignment with company vision.

Skills & Experience

Required:

  • Degree (Honours) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field—or equivalent industry experience.
  • 5+ years delivering software in agile environments.
  • Skilled in writing code adhering to compliance standards like PCI DSS, HIPAA, SOX, GDPR, CCPA.
  • Experience managing remote and globally distributed teams.
  • Strong networking ability, excelling in cross-functional collaboration with:
    • developers
    • analysts
    • external partners
  • Self-driven, highly organised, and incrementally impactful through attention to detail.
