Engineering Manager

Engineering Manager | Core Platform

Salary | Up to £114,000 + Bonus

Location | London, UK | Fully Remote

This is a genuinely embedded role within a mature, high-performing team, sitting at the centre of one of the organisation's most significant technology transformation programmes: modernising a critical legacy platform by transitioning from an in-house solution to a commercial enterprise platform.

This isn't a greenfield build; it's an opportunity for someone who wants to join a strong engineering culture with established ways of working while helping shape the future direction of a business-critical platform. Experience working within complex, highly regulated environments would be advantageous due to the governance, compliance, and operational considerations involved.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading engineers across multiple closely aligned product teams
  • Driving delivery throughout a large-scale, multi-year platform modernisation programme
  • Supporting a wider ecosystem of interconnected business services and operational capabilities
  • Working closely with business, legal, risk, and compliance stakeholders throughout the transformation
  • Helping define the long-term product and engineering roadmap once the migration is complete
  • Building on an already strong engineering culture while continuing to raise standards across full-stack engineering teams
  • Balancing delivery pace with the operational, financial, and regulatory requirements of a mission-critical platform

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
