As the first Engineering Manager at this profitable food marketplace, you will lead the transition from a small squad to a high-performing engineering organization. What You Will Do
- Manage and grow a team of software engineers, scaling the squad from 2 to 10 people over the next year.
- Own the end-to-end agile delivery process, including sprint planning, architecture reviews, and technical roadmapping.
- Partner with product and commercial leaders to ship impactful features for a high-traffic marketplace platform.
The ideal candidate
- 3+ years of experience managing engineering teams of 5-10 people with a focus on mentorship and delivery.
- Strong technical background in web technologies, specifically TypeScript, Node.js, and modern cloud infrastructure.
- Proven track record of hiring and developing talent in fast-paced startup or scale-up environments.
