Please note that this post is Part of One LSC – a corporate collaboration hosted by East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust and providing Estates and Facilities Services to Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

We are seeking to recruit a suitably experienced Operational Engineering Manager - Electrical who will be based at the Royal Preston Hospital and in the Estates Engineering department.

You will need to be able to demonstrate commitment, enthusiasm and professionalism, working within a fast-paced healthcare environment. We are looking for a self-starter who will be able to work effectively both individually and as part of a team.

Please note: An interview date has been provisionally set for the 7th August.

You will be experienced in the operation and management of Electrical & Mechanical systems within a large organisation, managing specialist contractors along with directly employed staff.

You will be experienced in the design and operation of Electrical & Mechanical Engineering services in various environments and will have a good working knowledge of other building services.

The permanent position is contracted to 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday; however you will be required to join our out of hours on call service. Overtime and on call payments will be made in addition.
