Are you an Engineering Manager who still enjoys getting hands‑on with hardware? This role blends technical leadership with practical problem‑solving, driving forward a busy product development roadmap while strengthening an established electronics portfolio.
You’ll lead a dedicated Hardware and Electronics function, working closely with Software and wider engineering teams to ensure products come together smoothly, reliably and on time. Expect a mix of leadership, hands‑on debugging, technical direction and pushing projects through to completion.

The Opportunity You’ll take ownership of hardware and electronics development across both existing products and new solutions. This includes guiding engineers, unblocking technical challenges, improving processes and ensuring the department delivers high‑quality, well‑integrated designs.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading and developing hardware and electronics engineers
- Getting hands‑on with boards, prototypes, test setups and troubleshooting
- Driving product development across the full lifecycle
- Overseeing electronics design, validation, testing and integration
- Working closely with software teams to ensure seamless system‑level performance
- Streamlining engineering processes and improving delivery efficiency
- Managing technical risks, resolving issues and keeping projects moving
- Supporting new product development and exploring alternative industry solutions

What We’re Looking For
- Strong background in electronics or hardware engineering
- Experience leading or mentoring hardware/electronics teams
- Comfortable being hands‑on: debugging, testing, fault‑finding, validating designs
- Proven ability to coordinate development activities and drive projects forward
- Experience across full product lifecycle in a technical or manufacturing environment
- Exposure to regulated or high‑integrity sectors is beneficial
- Someone who enjoys balancing leadership with practical engineering
