LOCATION: Staveley/Hyde/Corby (regular travel across three UK sites)

We have a vacancy for an Engineering Manager to work across our three AVK UK sites, Chesterfield, Hyde, and Corby.
About The Role
This is a pivotal role where you’ll take ownership of the engineering strategy, delivering automation projects and improving plant performance across multiple sites. You’ll play a key part in transforming operations through LEAN methodology, data-driven decision-making, and Industry 4.0 technologies.

Key Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Leading and delivering a multi-year automation and digitalisation strategy
- Driving engineering excellence, improving reliability, utilisation, and OEE
- Overseeing installation, commissioning, and optimisation of equipment and layouts
- Championing continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives across all sites
- Managing and developing a high-performing team of engineers
- Ensuring full compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
- Owning engineering budgets, capex planning, and project delivery
About You
- A degree/HND in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, or similar)
- Proven leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
- Strong background in automation projects and continuous improvement
- Demonstrated success in improving plant performance and reliability
