Engineering Manager – Core Betting

We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a team in the Betting domain, responsible for the systems powering real-time bet placement and settlement on our global Sports platform at Super Group.

This is a critical technical management role at the heart of our business. You’ll define and execute the engineering strategy for highly transactional, low-latency systems operating at scale, ensuring they remain resilient, performant, and ready for continuous growth.

You’ll lead an engineering team in London, collaborating closely with Product, Trading, and Platform teams to deliver exceptional sports betting experiences.

What You’ll Do

  • Own engineering delivery for Core Betting, shaping our transactional platform’s development and evolution
  • Lead and grow a high-performing engineering team, focusing on talent development and enabling engineers to excel
  • Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and engineering excellence
  • Ensure the delivery of scalable, resilient, and high-throughput systems that perform reliably under peak load
  • Partner with Product and business stakeholders to define and bring to life impactful features for players
  • Act as a senior decision-maker in delivery priorities and cross-team coordination
  • Collaborate across domains to solve complex, cross-platform challenges
  • Champion production-first thinking, promoting a mindset where teams own their systems end-to-end

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
