Engineering Lead

Drive direct growth at a high scale insurtech pioneer

Location: London (Hybrid, 3 days per week in office)
Salary: £100,000 to £125,000

The Opportunity

Traditional insurance reacts to accidents after they happen. This fast-growing scale-up is changing that by using real-time, data-driven insights to prevent accidents before they occur.

Backed by more than £50 million in funding and approaching one billion connected, insured miles, the business is building the next-generation insurance platform for connected and autonomous vehicle fleets.

To support its next phase of growth, the company is launching a dedicated Acquisition Team. This team is responsible for building the products and systems that enable global delivery, logistics, and ride-hailing businesses to onboard and scale on the platform.

As the Engineering Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in driving technical delivery, shaping architecture, and developing engineers while remaining hands-on with coding.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll partner closely with a Product Manager to lead the Acquisition Team, balancing technical leadership with hands-on software engineering.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
