Reckitt is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Operations Engineering Apprentice to join its Nottingham site. This Level 2 apprenticeship offers a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while working towards a recognised engineering qualification.
The apprentice will support the engineering and operations teams in maintaining and improving production equipment, ensuring efficiency, safety, and product quality. You will learn how to diagnose faults, carry out basic maintenance, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the maintenance, repair, and continuous operation of manufacturing equipment
- Assist in diagnosing faults and carrying out basic engineering repairs under supervision
- Learn and apply health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Participate in preventative maintenance activities to minimise downtime
- Work with the engineering team to improve production processes and efficiency
- Help monitor equipment performance and report any issues
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and problem-solving activities
- Maintain accurate records of work carried out and update systems as required
- Work collaboratively with production, quality, and engineering teams
- Attend training sessions and college as part of the apprenticeship program
