Team Overview
Department: Amazon Reliability Maintenance Engineering
The team is responsible for maintaining and optimising technologies within the Amazon Warehouse & Delivery Network.
Core Responsibilities
- As a Reliability Maintenance Technician, you will maintain and optimise our equipment in a safe and dependable way.
- Focus on preventative maintenance with a proactive approach—risk mitigation, issue resolution, and enhancement of availability and equipment quality.
- Work closely with operational teams and their customers, supported by leadership and your maintenance team.
Shift Pattern
Working in this role involves non-traditional shift patterns, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
Basic Qualifications

Able to work a flexible schedule, shift work, or outside working hours including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Qualifications equivalent to NVQ Level 3 (Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Specialist).

SVQ Level 3 (Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing)

IVQ Level 3 (Mechanical/Electronic/Electrician)

City & Guilds Level 3 (Engineering)

EAL Level 3 (Mechanical/Electrical Technology)

Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience with material handling equipment (MHE) and adherence to OEM safety standards.
- Exposure to robotic operation and maintenance.
