Talentmark are currently recruiting for an Engineering Project Manager to join a well-established organisation within the FMCG sector.

Our client is a leading manufacturer, producing high-quality products for major retailers and global consumer brands. This is a permanent opportunity supporting exciting engineering and capital projects across two manufacturing sites in the North West.

Salary: A competitive package based on experience, including car allowance, 23 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, and pension.

Location: The ideal candidate will be located in Warrington or surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the full project lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
  • Leading capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects, including planning, budgeting, procurement, installation, and commissioning.
  • Working closely with production, engineering, quality, maintenance, and HSE teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Driving effective communication across multiple stakeholders to ensure project objectives are achieved.
  • Ensuring all engineering activities comply with relevant legislation, company policies and industry standards.

Your Background:

  • A relevant engineering qualification (HNC/HND, Degree or equivalent).
  • Proven experience managing engineering or capital projects within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders.
  • Previous experience within the FMCG sector, such as beverages, personal care, household chemicals, or a related manufacturing industry.
  • Strong project management, planning, and organisational skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly between sites.
