Engineering Project Manager

Location: Ruskington

We’re looking for an experienced Engineering Project Manager to join our site team, driving capital investment and continuous improvement across the factory. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of key projects, make a real impact, and help deliver operational excellence.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead the delivery of site capital plans to support performance and profitability targets
  • Specify, cost, and manage engineering projects from concept through to handover
  • Deliver projects on time, within budget, and with zero harm
  • Manage suppliers and contractors across all project phases including tender, build, installation, and commissioning
  • Ensure all projects are delivered in line with governance and company procedures
  • Drive continuous improvement across people, processes, and systems
  • Produce and maintain site layouts and support capital approvals through internal systems (AFETS/SAP)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Technical, HSE, Hygiene, and NPD
  • Identify new technologies and innovations to improve production efficiency
  • Develop strong business cases and payback justifications for investment
  • Support wider engineering activities and non-capital projects where required

Essential

What we’re looking for

  • Level 5 qualification in an Engineering discipline
  • Proven experience managing capital projects in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of continuous food production processes and factory services
  • Experience managing contractors, budgets, and project delivery
  • AutoCAD experience
  • CDM knowledge and strong understanding of Health & Safety
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Commercial awareness with budget management experience
  • High level of IT literacy
  • Full UK driving licence
