The Opportunity
As an Engineering Services Technician based at our Bellshill site, you’ll play a key role in supporting the performance, efficiency, and reliability of engineering assets across our packaging operations. We are seeking a mechanically biased technician who brings strong technical expertise and a proactive approach to maintenance and continuous improvement. Working as part of the wider Engineering Services team, you’ll contribute to delivering site objectives while ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.
What you’ll be doing
- Providing technical expertise to maximise the performance and efficiency of production and engineering assets
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance to ensure operations run smoothly and effectively
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety, environmental, statutory compliance, COMAH, and ISO standards, maintaining the highest levels of operational safety and regulatory adherence
- Managing contractors in line with site procedures when required
- Acting as a quality guardian within the end-to-end production process to maintain high product standards
- Building strong working relationships across bottling, vat hall, and site maintenance teams
- Supporting improvement projects and contributing to engineering and NPD initiatives
- Driving continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance maintenance practices and performance

About You
- Experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment, ideally within packaging or production settings
- Mechanically biased or multi-skilled technician with strong mechanical maintenance experience
- Strong understanding of maintenance practices, including planned and reactive maintenance
- Experience working within a COMAH-regulated site and a strong understanding of statutory compliance requirements
- Ability to build effective working relationships and collaborate across teams
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Commitment to delivering high standards of quality and operational excellence
