Location: Bakery 41, Wakefield
Contract: Permanent
Salary: Competitive
The Recipe
You’ll be the first point of contact for our internal customers on all purchasing and engineering stores matters. From ordering spare parts and keeping accurate Excel records, to ensuring stock is stored correctly, you’ll play an important role in helping our engineering team stay up and running.
- Work closely with suppliers
- Provide regular updates to engineers on required parts
- Ensure everything is in the right place at the right time
- Update repairs and maintenance budgets
- Record timesheets on Excel
- Support the team with day-to-day administrative tasks

The Role
- Co-ordinate the activity within Engineering admin to ensure customer service is maintained and continuously improved
- Co-ordinate work allocation within Engineering admin; ensure holiday/sickness cover is provided through cross-skilling
- Manage Engineering spend effectively through accurate administration:
- Liaise with relevant parties to avoid SAP issues
- Engineering Stores responsibilities:
- Ensure all parts are correctly identified and located
- Handle items requiring outside refurbishment appropriately
- Deliver regular reports:
- Weekly and period Engineering KPI reports
- Weekly and period spend reports
- Produce ad hoc reports on request
- Attend meetings as required for generating action plans
- Assist Hygiene and Production departments with IT systems
- Liaise with all Engineering team members and ensure:
- Adherence to correct admin/stores procedures

Essential Ingredients
- Previous experience in a stores coordination or administration role
- Strong knowledge of IT systems with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent organisation, time management skills, and meticulous attention to detail
- Sound numeracy skills
- Strong teamworking abilities and willingness to learn
- Confidentiality; discretion required
- Flexible mindset to support business needs
- Strong oral and written communication skills
