We're looking for an Engineering Supervisor to lead the delivery of Hard FM services across a diverse regional portfolio. You will be responsible for ensuring statutory compliance, operational excellence and high-performing engineering services while leading engineers and specialist contractors across multiple sites.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance activities across the regional portfolio.
  • Supervise engineers and specialist contractors, ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently and to agreed service levels.
  • Monitor statutory compliance and support the management of critical engineering systems and assets.
  • Drive performance against contractual KPIs and SLAs, proactively managing service delivery risks and maintenance backlogs.
  • Undertake health and safety audits, toolbox talks and safety inspections, ensuring compliance with company and client procedures.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders and operational teams across multiple locations.
  • Support asset management activities, including audits, lifecycle planning and maintenance of asset records.
  • Review engineering performance data and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.

Required Qualifications

  • 18th Edition, Testing and Inspection qualified or holding a Mechanical engineering qualification.
  • Proven experience supervising Hard FM or building services operations across multiple sites.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical and building services systems.
  • Experience managing statutory compliance, engineering risk and health and safety requirements.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly across the regional portfolio.

  • Demonstrable leadership experience with the ability to motivate, develop and support engineering teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build effective client relationships.
  • Strong understanding of relevant legislation, compliance requirements and industry best practice.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Experience working within a corporate office or multi-site environment would be advantageous.
