Job Title: Engineering Supervisor
Location: Smart parc, Spondon, Derby DE21 7HW
Shift Pattern: Suez Shift Pattern rotating days and nights, 0600-1800 and 1800-0600.

About The Job:
We're currently on the hunt for an Engineering Supervisor to join our passionate and hardworking team. Reporting into the Senior Engineering Manager, you'll be responsible for leading a team of Automation Engineers in one of the UK's fastest growing food companies!
You'll be expected to drive excellent standards, improve processes and enhance efficiency whilst mentoring your team, to ensure we provide an exceptional product to our hungry customers, each and every delivery.

What You Will Be Doing:
- Manage and provide leadership to a team of Automation Engineers, Reliability Engineers, and Junior Engineers
- Coaching, guiding, and mentoring at all levels of the shift
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures and schedule to minimise downtime and maximise equipment reliability
- Identify opportunities for process automation and improvement to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential safety hazards and recommend corrective actions
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for spare parts, equipment upgrades, and technical support
- Lead root cause analysis processes and continuous improvement projects
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze data, and identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization
Who You Are:
- Strong knowledge of automation systems, material handling equipment, and warehouse management systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with stakeholders cross functionally
- Strong and evident leadership and people management experience
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role in an automated manufacturing or distribution center environment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Good understanding of data reporting to the business
