The Role
As an Engineering Team Lead on the Cloud Platform team, you will drive the development of mission-critical systems that power our cloud infrastructure. This role exists to bridge the gap between engineering execution and leadership, ensuring we build scalable, high-impact systems while fostering a high-performing team culture.
You will oversee a product squad, balancing hands-on technical contributions with team management, and work closely with Product Managers to deliver features that directly benefit our users and business. Your work will shape how our engineering organization operates, how we scale, and how we turn cutting-edge AI research into reliable, production-grade systems used by millions.

What You Will Do
- Empower your team by removing obstacles and creating an environment where engineers can focus on building high-quality, impactful products.
- Own the delivery of your team’s roadmap, ensuring projects are shipped with reliability, performance, and accountability.
- Partner with Product Managers to define priorities, scope initiatives, and drive technical and business impact decisions.
- Stay hands-on with architecture design, system design, coding, and technical decision-making to lead by example.
- Define and evolve team processes, best practices, and execution rituals to maintain clarity and scalability.
- Raise the engineering bar by challenging the team to take ownership, grow beyond their comfort zone, and improve knowledge sharing.
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of relevant work experience, with at least 2 years building and leading high-performing engineering teams.
- Proficiency in a server-side programming language, preferably Golang, and a strong grasp of backend fundamentals (APIs, databases, caching, distributed architectures).
- Experience with cloud-based (AWS, GCP, Azure) or bare-metal infrastructure.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams such as product, design, and business.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
- Autonomous, self-starting mindset with a low-ego, team-first attitude.
